Fun 'n' Flair Stamps Designer Challenge

Create a Textured Card or Layout

Hi everyone, welcome back to another Designer Challenge.  I am VERY late with posting this challenge, it has been so hectic around my house that I haven't had a chance to do a thing. But today I have finally caught a break and was able to get my project made, feels good to accomplish something!

Ok so for my project I made a textured shape card using one of my new digi's - Coo Coo Owl, I turned him into an easter bunny, how's that!  I paper pieced the owl with two different types of patterned paper from the Kaisercraft Hopscotch Paper Pad (I love this pad) I cut the bunny ears from the 3 birds on parade cricut cartridge, the nest and the easter eggs where purchased from the Silhouette Store, I manipulated them to how I wanted them using my silhouette studio..  The shaped card was made using one of the shapes from the cricut craft room basics cricut cartridge, and then I used my gypsy to weld the card together and create the 1st and 2nd layers.  My sentiment was made on the computer.  For my texture I used a kind of burlap/ heshen and for this I can't remember the name of it lol and my swiss dots embossing folder for the 2nd layer.  All my cardstock is American Crafts card stock.

Guest Designer for Ruthie from September Ninth

Happy Monday!!!

Today I have been honoured the role of Guest Designer for Ruthie from September Ninth, this lady has to be one of the most creative crafters around, I just love every single project she creates, she is such an inspiration!!

Today's card was made with one of the fun SVG freebies over at Ruthie's blog - Hello Kitty Nerd.  I called my Kitty "Glamour Nerd" cause she looks quite glamourous.  For my card I used my Silhouette Cameo to create the card by duplicating and flipping the image then I applied all the layers to the card once they were all cut out.  Have a look at that pink glittery bow, love love love it! and those glasses she is so blingy...The school bag was purchased from the online silhouette store and I dressed it up with my daubers and Stampin Up! ink pads giving it a more life like look!

Fun 'n' Flair's Designer Challenge - Colour Challenge

Peachy Keen Challenge 13-7 :: Sketch

Hi everyone, today I am participating in Peachy Keens Sketch Challenge, I just scraped in by the tip of my nose with this one, ended today....

I wanted to make something cute and happy and I especially wanted to use my new Piles of Smiles stamp set that I got from PKS, so here is my "Pea Happy" take on the sketch challenge.

This card was super easy to make and I had a ball making it, CUTE don't you reckon!  I just love those faces.

Shayla scatters some Love

I you ready for Valentine's Day... I sure hope you are.. Shayla is scattering love for all to share.
I made this card using stamps from Fun n Flair stamps... They have a new web site so make sure you bookmark it.  I used the stamp set,  Shayla goes Cupid for this card.  I hope you have noticed how versatile this stamp set is.. you can do so many wonderful things with it.. all the stamps used on this card are from the set..
I colored her with copic markers.. then mounted it on designer paper.. I stamped the clouds.. multi times to have Shayla look like she is have the cards rain hearts for the special day..
Oh and another great thing.. she is now in Digital images.. how cool is that.. instant gratification..

Fun 'n Flair Tag

Hello Everyone!  Melissa C here with another fun use of the fabulous sentiments set It's All About Love.  Now that Valentine's Day is behind us, pretty much, it's time to show you where these great sentiments can go.  I've not made it any secret that Valentine's Day isn't my favorite holiday, but I do firmly believe that you should never pass up the opportunity to let someone know how you feel about them.

So I created a tag that can adorn a package, or decorate a few more to make a little mini album to show off some favorite photos of your favorite people.  Or, what I started to do with my tags, is to put little inspirational messages on the back, so whenever one needs a little pick me up - all they need to do is reach for this fun little set of tags - read your message and viola - you've brightened their day!

I do hope that I've brightened your day a little, too!

Sprinkle for a Little Love

Hello Stampers! Are you all ready for Valentine's Day? I hope we've inspired you to create some fun Valentine projects for your loved ones this Valentine's Day. Today I am using the sack from the Shayla Goes Cupid set. I added some stickles to show some of Cupid's dust coming from the sack. I also adding some sewing and embossing on my card. 
You can now get Shayla as a digi stamp so you can still make some last minute Valentine projects.

Happy Monday all!  Today I'm sharing a little love card using the stamp set Shayla Goes Cupid!
I decided that I wanted to see what else I could do with the border heart stamp and I think it worked just fine - what do you think?

Papers are all from my stash and I do want to mention that the black arrow is made of sequins, but unless I had the flash on super bright they didn't show and with super bright the rest of the card became a bright blur.  I used Memento ink for stamping and Spica Black.

Fun 'n' Flair Stamps - Sketch Challenge #3

Hi Everyone, welcome to another Fun 'n' Flair Stamps Sketch Challenge with me and my team!!.  Today we are sharing with everyone creations featuring this months sketch.  With my sketch, my mind changed that many times before I got the result I did.  You know when you have and idea in your head but it never turns out the way you imagined lol, well this is what happened to me.

But in saying that I really LOVED how it turned out, I didn't go for the traditional red and white colours for this card but instead bright and colourful.  Now what did happen, is when I was colouring cupid shayla in I actually coloured in the cloud the same colour as her wings, don't ask me why I did that cause it just looked toooo BLUE!, so I added Liquid Applique and heated it with my heat gun to make it not only POP but make it white lol.
